This Week's Lesson Take-away for 10/04/09

- This month's banner from www.christianedwarehouse.com
Have you ever taken a long hike? You might find your self on a peak where everything is bright and you can see far. But then you might climb down the mountain into the valley, where the sun cannot reach, and it seems dark.
Life is sometimes not easy. Like a hike, it has it's ups and downs. We have 'peaks' when everything is going well and we have 'valleys' where things seem dark and discouraging.
Remember, when you are in a valley, the Lord is with you and guiding you, like a shepherd caring for his sheep. You may not be able to see him, but he is there.
What did we do in class on 10/04/09?
- We watched a Little House on the Prairie Episode entitle, "The Lord is My Shepherd"
- We talked about dark 'valley' times in our lives.
- We ate popcorn!

Five for Fun:
Fill out the form below and then click on the "Send Five for Fun to Mrs B" button. If you have missed class and turn this in, you can make up a Learning Link! Some of the questions will probably be taken from this week's Bible reading (See the top right column of this page).
Instructions:
Psalm 23 has 6 verses, not 5. So, because it is "5" for fun, and not "6" for fun, I did the first one for you! Print the attached sheet and match the remaining 5 verses to the phrase which best matches it's meaning. You can bring it with you next time you come to class.
