“Let the children come to me, do not hinder them. For to such belongs the kingdom of God.”    (Mark 10: 14b)

Christian Education is available for all ages from nursery to high school.   Church School meets every Sunday from September through May. Classes begin at the conclusion of the 9:45 service and run until 12 noon.  There are some special events planned during the summer including Vacation Bible School. Several times during the year the classes meet together for special events such as readying for Holiday on the Avenue and the popular pretzel Sunday.  Adults meet each Sunday during the Church School hour in the lounge for Bible Study.

VBS will be here before you know it.  Save July 28th to 30th for our fun-filled Christmas in July. Family members and neighbor children are welcome, even if they don't attend St. Andrew's. Sign up sheets are on the door to the lounge.

Thursday-July 28th- Christmas Dinner - 6 PM

Turkey, Stuffing, gravy, and beverage will be provided.  All members of the parish are welcome and will be asked to bring a dish to pass. Dinner starts at 6:00 PM.  The evening will include the children decorating and hanging stockings, a reading of the Christmas story, decorating a tree complete with popcorn and cranberry chains, and Carols anyone?  Each child is asked to bring a homemade gift to be given out as a grab bag gift and an item for our troops.

Friday 9:00AM to 4:00PM- making candy, baking cookies, crafts, an Angel hunt and much much more.  Snacks and lunch provided.  Stockings, which were filled over night, will be given out.

Saturday-7:30 AM Meet at church to carpool to Santa's workshop.  Bring a bagged lunch. We will stop for dinner on the way home.  Prices are still in the negotiation stage-discount depends on the number going.  Scholarship aid is available.  Award certificates will be given out at dinner.

Want to help? - I can still use items to help fill stockings, craft kits, and money donations to help with scholarship assistance.  Can always use adults and teens to help with crafts and games.

Lets make 2011 the best VBS to date!
