Times are financially tough.  The economy is in bad shape, gas prices skyrocket-ed earlier this year, and this winter's heating bill looks to be high.  With all of this said, don't you still consider yourself blessed?

But many struggle just to put food on the table each week.  At St. Andrew's, each year we have chosen to help families with the struggles they face at the holiday season. 

The organizer of this annual event is the amazing Carol Kiddle.  But she has a slew of elves that help her.  Many members of our parish personally shop for our adopt-a-families, or if they can't do that, they donate funds, or they help wrap or deliver.    In years past, we have provided God-sent Christmases to folks who really need a boost.

This year, our family and their needs are going to be anonymous.  Don't let that stop you...the best smile is the smile you caused, but yet couldn't personally see.   You're blessed, and you can pass that blessing on.
