Thinking of you at the Holidays
It is now 2009, and I know that there are so many soldiers and military personell that are missing their homes and loved ones, and my prayers are with you at this time and always. Thank you so very much for your sacrifice and giving for your country and the people in it. God bless you and Happy New Year.

Remembering you on Sept 11
On sept 11, my sister who works out of the world financial center went to midtown for a meeting, but I did not know. As soon as the planes hit and I realized what was happening, of course I tried frantically to reach her. She was fine, but so many others not. I thank you for the sacrificies you have made to prevent another attack like that from happening. May God Bless you and keep you safe

My son shipped off this morning
I'm known as Chief around here because I'm retired Navy, but I'm a Home Ec teacher now, which makes my Navy buds laugh now and then.
As a vet, I know how challenging it can be far from home. Our prayers go out to you.
My son, Luke, headed to Army boot camp this morning. I would love to hear your perspective on that.
Bless you always,
Julie :+)

Appreciation
I've been reading the "soldiers report from the field" on this website, and I want to let all of you troops know how sad I am for the losses that you have experienced. I pray that God protects you while you are there in harm's way and the He will protect you after you return home. Blessings to you all, keep safe.

Thank You
We cannot ever thank you enough for your work there. As you take a stand for freedom, rooting out evil and helping build the schools and villages there, our world becomes a place in God's image. Amidst the danger, cry out to Him; He is always with you. We at St. Andrews are covering you with prayer. Thank you for your strength and bravery.

Keep cool...
Our website's Military Support section has temperature info for Baghdad, Kabul & Schenectady. I didn't realize how hot is it in Iraq! Doing a soldier's hard work in military uniforms in such heat is amazing to me. I'll be praying you can remember what it feels like on a cool, Fall day at home...

You make us proud every day!
My son spent 14 months in Iraq very early on and I appreciate the hardships you are enduring. You all are in my prayers.I am actively involved in the Beukendaal Fire Depart. troop drive. If you know of soldiers who need mail, let me know and I will send them a package. I'd like to thank the Schenectady Chapter of the DAR for their generous donation of $500.00 for postage for our boxes.
