Prayer Chain

The Prayer Ministry is a vital part of St. Andrew’s and the Prayer Chain is just one of the ways that ministry is manifested.  Our Prayer Chain has been active for about ten years.  Parishioners either call or email a request for prayer for themselves, their family members or for someone in their community who is need of prayer. Another way to submit a prayer is by using the folders in the pews that one can fill out and put in the offering plate or in the office.  Prayer requests are then passed along to the person in charge of the Chain who sends out an email with the information to the members of the Prayer Chain.  There is also a caller who contacts those pray-ers who do not use email, so that everyone receives the request as quickly as it possible. 

Updates are sent out as received and most prayer requests are prayed for daily until some further information is received and/or the situation is resolved.
