Did you know that there are over 2000 scripture references to money? God knows the importance of money...the good it can do, and how it can destroy also.
Whether or not we like it, money is necessary to meet the needs of our parish. With tough financial times, it gets more challenging every day to make ends meet. But, "The Lord will provide..." We know that we have many gifted, creative, talented and generous individuals in our midst, and God will show us how to raise the funds we need.
That is why the Vestry has approved the formation of a Fundraising Committee whose responsibility is to consider and recommend ideas or proposals to the vestry and clergy members for the primary purpose of getting parish members together and raising funds for the operating budget.
November Stewardship Season
A major fundraising event for our church is of course the annual Stewardship Drive.
November is a time when we remember the blessings that God has bestowed upon us. What a perfect time to consider how we can offer back to Him what He has given us.
