The Altar Guild
“Honor the Lord for the glory of His name. Worship the Lord in the splendor of His holiness.” (Psalm 29: 2)
The Altar Guild prepares the altar for all services. At the end of each month, they clean and polish the Communion silver to keep it at its “Sunday best”.

Choir & Music
"Make a joyful noise unto the Lord." (Psalm 66:1a)
Have you ever wanted to be "up-close and personal" with the Lord in worship, and "Make a Joyful Noise Unto the Lord"?
Join the choir! All singers needed. Come to a rehearsal and try it out. Click here for the Choir Info Page for more information about our current activities.
Our choir, under the direction of our organist, Mrs. Janet Gerbino, is growing and always welcomes new voices. The choir sings at the 9:45 service on Sunday and at special services during the year. They also participate in Diocesan choir festivals. On special occasions, they are accompanied by chimes and/or varied musical instruments. Practice is on Sunday morning at 11:00 AM.
For more information about joining the choir, contact Janet Gerbino at: jtgerbino(at)yahoo.com .
In addition, we are fortunate to have Broken Oaks, a contemporary Christian singing group, as part of our congregation and they often add their wonderful music to our worship. There is also a signing choir being formed.

Prayer for Church Musicians and Artists (from the 1979 Book of Common Prayer):
O God, whom saints and angels delight to worship in heaven: Be ever present with your servants who seek through art and music to perfect the praises offered by your people on earth; and grant to them even now glimpses of your beauty, and make them worthy at length to behold it unveiled for evermore; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
The Servant Community

St. Andrew’s strives to make stewardship a year round activity where we are always focusing on the sharing of our time, talent, and treasures to carry out our Mission Statement. We encourage members to creatively assist the Church in many ways.
