Stations of the Cross - Fridays 5:30 PM
Stations of the Cross will be held every Friday during Lent at 5:30 PM, beginning Friday, March 11th. The prayers and songs can add a meaningful and uplifting dimension to your Lenten experience.
Save a stamp! If you'd rather not find the blue pledge form that was mailed to you a week and a half ago and then fill it out, and then hand-address an envelope with a pen that is running out of ink, and then lick the envelope (yuck), and then attach a $0.42 stamp to the envelope (or is it $0.44?), and then find your last week's bulletin from church so you can remember if the correct address is 50 or 52 Sacandaga Rd, and then trudge to the mailbox at the end of the street in the rain to mail your pledge card, then be sure to:

New Members Needed
Have you always wanted to go into the mission field? Do you wish you could help bring the Word to your local community and beyond? God could be calling you to Cyber-Ministry!
Cyber-Ministry is a way of reaching out to others and ministering to them through the internet. It's more than just "making a website." The web is the newest mission field, and St. Andrew's is one of the first churches in the Albany Diocese to actively tackle it.
The Cyber-Ministry team is looking for new members. Even if you have no experience working on websites, as long as you can use a computer, we can teach you.
What kind of a time commitment is involved? An hour or two a week, and attending a monthly hour-long meeting. Our philosophy is 'many hands make light work.' The following cyber-mission jobs are needed on our team...can you venture out into the on-line field?
- Maintain the parish web calendar & announcements
- Update the on-line prayer devotional once a week
- Update the monthly birthday list
- Contact parish ministry leaders for content updates
- Post the weekly "Your Opinion Counts" question
- Record sermons
- Start and Run a Bible Study On-line forum

Receive Your Newsletter by E-mail!
Help St. Andrew's save money on newsletter printing and mailing costs by requesting your copy of the newsletter electronically rather than copied out on paper. In doing this, you will help the church save in two or three ways: reduced paper usage, reduced copier toner, and in some cases, fewer postage stamps.
When you sign up to give up your paper copy, you will be sent an email when the new monthly newsletter is posted. The email will include the link to the website page. Then, all you need to do is click and read. You also have the option of printing out your own copy, if you wish.
