Invite the Spirit To Be With You

Hold the Invitatory bead and ask the Spirit to be with you, praying:

O God, you instructed the hearts of the Faithful by the light of the Holy Spirit.  Grant that by your Spirit we may be truly wise and ever rejoice in your consolation.

Come, Holy Spirit, fill our hearts and enkindle in us the fire of your love.

Come, Holy Spirit, and we shall be created.  And you shall renew the face of the earth.

Through Christ our Lord, Amen.

Before we can enter into the prayer, we must invite the Holy Spirit to be with us.  In doing so, we can enter the circle of beads, because the Spirit will assist us.  As it says in Romans Chapter 8: “… the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.”
